Things coming together nicely now:

Wed - Turbo bike intervals @ 30.1 ave MPH. Up from 29.8mph last week. Objective one achieved.
Thurs - 4secs improvement on training 5k route - PB
Fri - 1,500m swim in 25:14
Sun - 30 miles on the bike. Feeling strong
Monday - 4.69mile run. Felt good.

2nd week of ramping up the distance/intensity - all coming together for first peak in May.
Easy cycle today - just out enjoying the sun for a change...
Wed - 1hour interval turbo sesssion - hard...
Thurs - 5k run
Fri - rest
Sat - Brick session. 1hour interval turbo sesssion followed by 2mile run.
Mon - Really hard interval session today on the turbo. Speed up again to ave 30.2mph. Getting nearer the stats I normally achieve mid-race season so on track for a good year - still feel a bit down on endurance; need to string together 3-4 longish rides this month.
Tues - Easy 5k run this morning.
Wed - 1,500 metre swim. Sliced another 7secs off my best time this year.
Thurs - 1hour bike ride today. Just went out and rode...
Rest day today, racing tomorrow, I hope that the weather is this good! This weeks been loads of tempo riding on the road, been enjoying the spring sunshine, and a turbo session with long intervals at threshold.
Need a big week - last week's endeavours curtailed by work commitments. Got my TT bike out today for its first outing in 2010. 20 miles - legs feel good; neck sore!
Heavy brick session today - 20mins on turbo @ 28.5mph followed by 2mile run in 13:49. Been reading with interest an article or two on pedalling effficiency - going to try to fit in some drill work here.
Gentle ride into work and 2 hours tempo riding on the way home. Pancakes and Nutella for tea. Not too sure if that was part of the training plan but tasted good. Legs hurt from the weekend. Feel like I am missing top end speed.
