Multiple sessions on the turbo this week, gearing up for a TT on Saturday. Should get a new guage for where I am and what I'll need to do to put in a decent 25mile TT time in Sept.
10mile TT this morning. Good to be back racing, even if 1.5mins off the pace. Escaped the rain with an early start.
Good week's prep for road race today
Tuesday - Strength sessions
Wednesday gym
Thursday - Crit race at Preston
Fri/Sat - rest
Sun - absolutely shite!! 1 lap off the back and suffering, struggled to keep going finally quit, legs felt good until hard effort then lungs cramped and effort gone! Mentally harder to take than physically. Oh well next week similar course better result!
Big turbo session today, starting to feel stronger. Aiming for another session tomorrow and then out on the roads @ the weekend to get some miles in.
10mile steady run today. Extremely humid - 2mins down on usual time.
15.5 miles bike ride over Headley Hill loop. Felt good.
5k run - first for a couple of months. Felt good to be back out pounding the streets. Probably won't be able to walk tomorrow though!
Couple of turbo sessions this week and a 1km TT - full out burst, managed 2:16, legs like jelly.
20 miles out on my road bike today. Not too bad a week - getting back into a training rhythm.
After 2 weeks of swim technique training in a Lanzarote pool (ok actually messing about with my children in a Lanzarote pool) started back with a 4k run on Wednesday - 20:05 and hard work.

Next target is Barnsley 10k on 14th November - 49:52 last year - want to knock minutes off that this year so time to get on with some training me thinks.
Hi Kevin, great to see you back! Please try out our new training diaries and tell us what you think...

Beautiful biking weather this morning. Scorched over Headley Hill; not ready for winter just yet!
