About Me:
I've been competing in cycling time trials and triathlons since 1991. Most proud of my 21mins 49secs PB for 10mile TT and my 10hrs 42mins time for Ironman.

I'm passionate about helping other athletes achieve their goals and am the Founder of Beat:Your:PB. I also run 10:42 Media, a media consultancy and software development company working with brands within the athletic sports sector.

Following on from 2009, my main targets for 2010 are going to be Tri (Eton and Windsor plus another couple of events in Jul/Aug) and cycling 10 and 25 mile TT's - ever hopeful of new PB's! Depending on how things go, might "go long" in 2011 - Ironman, 10mile TT and Etape.

Be good when you rolover members avatar for their name to be displayed as an alt tag. When view map, getting an "unresponsive script" message - taking 20-30secs to load a map. Have set the map "Headley" to public but it's not showing up in "search"
on Sunday

Thanks Julian! Yeah, I've had a great year so far...two tough marathons, two 50-mile ultras and I just finished my first 100-miler on August 1. Re-training my legs and lungs again for some fast running the rest of the year!

Definitely interested in getting something like this onto Just Finish. Talking with a couple Ning developers right now. Gotta get it tied into people's Ning accounts though. :-)

Hi Julian, Cheers it was good to be getting back on top of my game and getting the results. The change in training made all the difference, I'm thinking maybe a couple more 25s or a 50 and then season over. Bit of a break and back to training October time.

Thanks, it felt good to feel like I was racing properly. I have increased the length and slightly raised the intensity of my endurance rides whilst doing some horribly hard VO2 max/lactate tolerance sessions and building 10 rep hill repeats in a big gear to my rides home to build power. Also racing slightly less, dropping some of the mid week races. Early days yet but I'll keep you posted on the results.

Hi Julian, Thanks for these sessions they look good and I like the idea of longer rides with someone, helps to keep the momentum and push yourself. I am having a real rethink about training on the back of some testing I have done. I need to work on strength/power and my endurance rides haven't been long enough although the intensity has been right.

It may be that my results drop or stay as they are for a while longer but hope to see some real benefit at the end of the season.

Watch this space!
