Kevin, I think a key thing for you is to first decide whether your main 2012 focus is cycling or triathlons.   Cycling I'm not a cateye expert, but at a quick glance, one downside with this model would seem to be you can't download…

Cheers Stephen I guess I'll have to see how good Santa thinks I have been, but does look an excellent option. Looks normal enough that the wife might not realise what I've done and I could always point out the savings over seperates ;-)

OK as I'm already working out a cunning plan to ensure 2012 is a brilliant year, could you knowledgeable and lovable folks help me out.I'm slow, 3hours 28min for my first (and so far only) Olympic tri. And I know that on swim and run pace I'm way better than this, which suggests a big bike focus next year.So (here's the question) if I can only afford one piece of tech kit to help would I be better with a bike computer or a heart rate monitor? Thanks for your assistance!See More

Just realised after buying new running shoes that I don't track distance/gear so probably leave it too long before replacing. Any chance of adding a track gear tab in the training diary? Or is it there and I'm just missing it.   And…

Slowly getting better, in fact my legs were back for todays run, just need to arrange the return of my heart and lungs now! This week so far 6k run Sunday, 10 x 50m swim Tuesday and 5k run today. No pain. Or more precisely no unexpected pain.
